WCW vs the World is the first game ever that offers so many wrestlers. 52 is the most ever and accompanied by a nice assortmant of features including a best of seven match and even a league challenge. The pictures for the wrestler that you have selected are real lame, cartoony drawings that they could have gone without. But the actual game play, and options make this game a winner. I would say the best yet on the playstation. Although WCW Nitro might usurp it's reign when it debues early next year. Anyway, with 52 wrestlers including the ICON Hollywood Hogan and many others, and inovative control, along with the league feature make this game a winner. If by the time you are reading this, Nitro has come out, check some of our other reveiws to see which one to buy. If Nitro isn't out yet, well at least give this game a rental.
Sound-The sound was pretty standard, no entrance themes or anything that stood out. The sound effects are pretty good that brings this rating up. Sound - 6
Graphics-The graphics are pretty cartoony, but somehow slide by. Some people might disagree with me, but I like it. Graphics-7
Gameplay-The gameplay is fun, but could have been improved in certain places. But the best thing about this game is that when you hit some one they actually fall or get hurt, when you hit them. Not a second before or a second after. Gameplay - 6.5
Overall-This game is the best wrestling game yet. But as I said before, it's reign might ne quickly ended by WCW Nitro. It is definately worth the money, whether you like wrestling or not. Overall - 7

Beat all of the leagues with a Lightweight/Junior weight wrestler. Then, a new "Super Junior" league will appear. Now beat this league and defeat Tiger Mask.
Beat the WCW league with any wrestler.
Beat the Independent Union Wrestling league with any wrestler.
Beat the Samurai Wrestling Federation with any wrestler.
Beat the Empire Wrestling Federation with any wrestler.
Beat the Neo-Strong Wrestling league with any wrestler.
Beat the Dead or Alive league with any wrestler.
