nWo/WCW World Tour is in my opinion the best wrestling game yet. It has a huge amount of wrestlers, including Hogan, Nash, Hall, Bagwell, S. Steiner, Luger, Giant, Sting, nWo Sting, DDP, Rey jr, Eddy Guererro jr, and many many more. The overall layout is simple and easy for anyone to understand. They have a few cool modes like WCW vs nWo and the battle royal to name a few. And the grappling system is simple yet can used by more knowlegable grapplers to pummel their inexperienced friens. Complete with ability to set handicaps and illegal objects from the crowd, this game rivals any other in every way. The only real thing it is missing is a cage match feature. But hey maybe that will be in the sequal nWo/WCW Revenge. The graphics are decent, but once and awhile you will see an arm or leg go through some one's head when in a sleeper or some other submission hold. The crowd is another problem area. It is horrible. But such small problems don't take away from this terrific game. The four player mode is definately the best part of the game. The frame rate could be a little better though.
Control - 9.5 I love this system. Simply tap the A button to grab and perform a weak move by pressing either up, down, left, or right, along with A, or B. And the stronger moves require you to hold A down for a longer period of time. The Special moves are performed when your spirit meter is blinking and you strong grapple an opponent and tap the analog stick. I hope they stay with this method in the sequal.
Sound - 5.5 The sound effects when a wrestler goes flying into the steel guard rail, or while they are in a submission hold and they give up are good. But the cheesy music and lack of announcers is a downfall. Theme music for each wrestler could help.
Graphics - 7.5 Definately not the strong point of this game, but definately not the weak point either. The graphics are good enough to allow a player to see every move clearly, and never get confused about who you are. The worst part is the crowd and the limbs going through the opponents body.
Gameplay - 9.5 The gameplay in the four player mode is the best of any game out there. It will keep a group of friends occupied for a while. But it does get pretty competitive. The one player mode could use some work though.
Overall - 8.5 The best gamr out there to date. Even if you aren't a fan of wrestling this gaame is a must buy.
Joe Bruiser: Once you have beaten all the leagues, go to the league mode. There should now be a WWW league. Beat that league with any wrestler to unlock this boxer.
Black Widow: Enter the WWW cruiserweight league challenge with any cruiserweight to unlock Black Widow.
